Reading Rifle and Revolver is located off of Haverhill Street in Reading, MA. We are the only club in MA that has a 600 yard rifle range. Reading Rifle and Revolver offers a full schedule of matches and activities that interest all types of shooters.

Notes from Charlie:

The results from Sunday’s match are now posted, we had 35 total shooters, 2 people did not finish. Great turn out……THANK YOU.

The conditions were challenging at times, some wind gusts just when it least expected as always mistakes hurt and several people were in that category. Once again Robbie shot very well to win another Mass State Championship! The hotly contested Master Class was won by Gunny Fetrow…..yes and he also hammered out a 100-9 at 300yds that’s big time. John Coggshall with a 198 standing and 200-15 sit…..nice way to leave 200yd line down 2 points !

Everyone competes against our toughest opponents….ourselves….each one of us had a great string yesterday, all of us learn from the mistakes, get help/advise from each other….and continue to reach the next level.

Next weekend, league match Saturday 9am, LEG MATCH SUNDAY 9am, $30 each match, hope to see many shooters back, the weather looks good finally.

Camp Perry sign sheet will out next week for Team Events etc.

One other note.

As we prepare to travel to matches, some important details to be mindful of.

Look up HR 131, it is about transporting firearms to matches , the essence of it is you must transport your firearm in locked hard cases……while traveling through many states, especially in the northeast. Further “my recommendation” is to get 10rnd mags, don’t transport high-capacity mags, many states have restrictions on these and the consequences are many times more serious than the gun itself…..for instance even in Vermont for the September matches.
